How CSA Philippines Started

After returning from her training in the United States in 1999, Zenet Maramara, wanted to network with Christian fundraisers in the Philippines. She found only two

Christian organizations with a full-time developement office. Four people shared her vision of promoting biblical stewrdship education and equipping Christians fundraisers with trainging. Together, they formed CSA Philippines in 2000.

CSA has conducted monthly fellowship meetings and educational lectures on stewardship and fundraising. One participant says, "I gained a lot of insights and I am amazed that such a group as CSA exist!

In May 2001, the first fundraising course was offered at Asian Theological Seminary taught by Zenet Maramara and Bob Del Rosario. This course has been a regular offering in the MBA in Biblical STewardship and Christia Management program.

Our Goal
Organized development work in the Philippines is in its infanct stage in contrast with the 200 years of American history of philanthropy. Trained development workers are lacking. The demand for training and education is great! CSA Philippines is taking the lead in promoting Christian stewardship education and in training resource development workers.

CSA Philippines is an interdominational non-profit organization whose mission is to teach God's people stewardship of resources. The board of directors and officers are composed of volunteers committed to promoting Biblical stewardship.

Our goal is to provide teaching materials for Biblical stewardship education in the local church and sponsor training for development practitioners in the Philippines. In May 2005, CSA brought the biggest stewardship ministry in the world to the Philippines, Crown Financial Ministries. Crown conducted seminars for pastors and church leaders on God's financial principles and the Business by the Book seminar for business people.

Our Mission
Is to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom through Biblical stewardship education.

Our Purpose                                                                                                                Is to equip Christian fundraisers to mobilize resources for God's work through education, training and networking.

Our Vision

Our vision is to see the Philippine Church lacking nothing because people freely give and share.

In Order To Achieve Our Vision                                                                      We must change the mindset of the people. In order to change the mindset of the people, each of us must take responsibility for promoting Biblical stewardship.
Two principles guide us --
    First, God owns everything;
    Second, we are simply stewards of all that we have.
